Our mermaid show was plagued last night. We were in the middle of Under The Sea -- the one number where pretty much everyone is on stage-- and we were posing for the first section of the song going into the reprise. This swarm of Gnats came upon tuacahn and were ready to attack. They were every where, in a cloudy fog of bugs. Trying to sing the reprise was impossible without getting some extra protein in our systems, they were crawling all over us and flying everywhere.
They got in the wigs, dressing rooms and our bras!! It was absolutely terrible and Miserable. Usually little swarms of gnats come and go. they move around in fast little clusters. I had hoped the same thing would happen with this ginormous cluster... but no. it stayed the entire show. the poor costumers were at tuacahn till 5 am cleaning.
This picture dose no justice to how terrible it was... but it's a small preview! haha
Note to self... don't do the shows at tuacahn in exactly 7 years.
