Paper cranes, Dinosaurs, and Hurricanes.

This week end my family came to town!! Mother, brother Aaron, Ruth and the kids, Shannon Stephen, and Natalie. it was so good to see them! i miss them so much. since they moved to logan i rarely see them!.... lame.
We went swimming at their hotel on friday, but those kids can't swim.... stressful! so i tried to teach them some stuff. like how to hold your breath under water, ya it was that bad. so on saturday i suggested we swim at my house, where there are many floaty toys. this helped loads, cuz they didn't have the death grip on me the whole time.
We also whet to this dinosaur tracks place. it was pretty cool!

Me and Stephen with with Dinosaur Tracks mascot guy:)

Stephen again, he's such a cutie!

Shannon, Me, and Stephen!
There was this random room with tons of origami dinosaurs and crazy flowers and stuff, but then they had directions to make your own! so my mother and I took on the challenge of making a paper crane!! we sat there for about 45 minutes trying to make these things, in the end..... we were extremely successful!
our cranes, and the directions we followed! mine's on the left and Cheryl's is on the right!

We were so proud :)
Show's this week were crazy, and went by really fast! Wednesday's performance of Mermaid, stopped twice because of rain, but in the end, we finally finished the whole show! Friday nights show wasn't so successful. we got about halfway through the first act before the rain and lightning came in so strong we had to stop.
But let me tell you this, it was the most
magical
thing that has happened so far. because it started raining in "the storm" scene. thats when eric falls off the boat because there is a hurricane at sea, then ariel goes and saves him. so there we are on the sides singing some Aaaaah's for effects, and the guys are yelling "hurricane a comin', and "Man over board" suddenly it starts pouring rain. and the wind was going like crazy... oh man can you say, Magical??? loved it!

so anyways we held for a good 40 minutes before they finally cancelled the show:( 2000 people went home that night not very happy. which means im not very happy!

I got so much school done this week though! im so ridiculously close to finishing history and english, i could cry. I also signed up for my next classes i will be taking, Financial lit, and Gov. and Citizenship. Bleh. two required classes that will be out of my way, YAY:)

this week, EMMA RODEN, is coming to see the shows. my heart is so happy! i love her. and Louisa might come too!! yay, double whammy! i love best friends:)
