Its Time

So i have 5 more days in St. George. Which means it's time for packing, cleaning and those dreaded goodbyes. I have never been in a show where it will never happen again. For example, Im used to Thriller which comes around every october. but I will never do The Little Mermaid, or (more sadly) Grease with the same people, the same choreo, costumes, sets, amazing audiences, and unexpected weather etc,. It's weird to think about! As I did my second to last Grease show on saturday I couldn't help but be a little sad about it.

It's all bitter sweet of course. I get to go home, and see my friends, family, go to school and dance EVERY day!!! Gosh I really cant wait:)

As I rave about how excited I am to come home. I have made some good friends along the way. and I truly wouldn't have been able to get through this journey with out them. I want to thank them for making these 6 months possible!

 Alexis Smithersss (house of Ravenclaw) and Mitchell Glass (house of Hufflepuff.... haaa):
 Together we made the three musketeers. I appreciate you guys accepting me for who I am and for not staring at me like I was a complete loser. We shared SO many laughs together. You "adults" were so nice to befriend me. Thank you.

Molls bolls and Erica:

 Thanks for teaching me so many things throughout this experience. I learned much more than I thought possible. You are wonderful examples to me, and I look up to you more than you may know. I know for a fact I wouldn't have gotten through this without you guys sitting next to me the whole way through. I will never forget being a Varsity Cheerleader with you two:) Muff, Buff, and Char Char!!! HootyHooo!! p.s. Molly- thank you again for freaking braiding my hair every Mermaid night. and Erica- remember that time you slobbered on stage?? hahahaha ya, i just thought of that and laughed SOOO hard!

Through all the ups and downs of my first "Tuacahn" experience, I wouldn't change it for the world. I never thought I could learn so much about myself in these six months as I did. Im so grateful for the many experiences i've gone through..... but im so excited to come back home:)

Forever

It's literally been forever since i've blogged! I have found now with school, i'd rather spend my time sleeping, doing homework, sleeping and working out. so yeah, blogging isn't at the top of my list. but i have surely missed it a lot! it is a good way for me to write out how i feel about things, especially since i haven't had dance on my side this summer, for emotional expression. My blog has definitely done what i wanted it to do:)

I can't believe its Thriller time already! It's weird cuz im not in my house with all the zombie make up, frankenstein heads, and vampire blood. but thats exactly what my house is filled with at the moment, i just know it:)

If you don't know what thriller is, GO SEE IT! get your tickets on Odyssey Dance Theaters website. It is an incredible show! and im not being biased! i swear!

Nephews!

My trip home was so fun! although, I spent practically all of it with my nieces and nephews. particularly Tyler and Derek. I found this as an enormous blessing in disguise because they are moving to Texas in october!!!!! BEFORE i come back home from St. George..... I know it will be good for them, and thats what they need to do. but I'm very heart broken about it. Tyler is my best friend, and Amanda and Kevin are like my second parents. Of course I will see them every once and a while, but I'm used to seeing them 5 times a week!! not 5 times a year.

Anyways, Tyler, Derek, and I watched the original Mickey cartoons from like the 1930's. Tyler can't come to my house and not wear my gold mickey ears from disney. And so we watched these cartoons while wearing mickey and minnie ears. But then Tyler decided he wanted to be all out mickey, with only undies on just like mickey mouse! ooooh boy, so funny:)

This one is him punching the piano just as mickey did in one of the cartoons we watched! he is just the smartest kid i know! 

Apparently im to lame to get pictures of Derek, or my 3 other nieces and nephews who were at the family BBQ. but what ever. Here are some pictures of Derek so you can see just how adorable he is!!

Goodness gracious!! I can't take it! he is a stud muffin! to the max!!

P.S. I wish we all talked with proper grammar like they used to in the Jane Austen era. I've been watching Pride & Prejudice and Becoming Jane, and I just love how they speak!
